"The Colors of Water" Exhibition – A Dialogue Between Art and Nature

We invite you to experience the museum's 7th season, running from April 19 to November 11, 2025. Titled "The Colors of Water," this exhibition offers a poetic and thought-provoking journey into the theme of water through the works of two major artists.

A Photographic Journey with YANN ARTHUS-BERTRAND

In the museum’s garden, Yann ARTHUS-BERTRAND, internationally acclaimed photographer and environmental activist, will present a selection of his most stunning aquatic landscape photographs. These breathtaking images capture the planet’s beauty and fragility, inspiring awareness of the need to protect this shared natural heritage.

GRATALOUP and the Symbolism of Water

In harmony with these photographs, GRATALOUP, a symbolist painter and devoted admirer of nature, will display his works in the museum’s chapel. Inspired by the theme of water, each painting is accompanied by an immersive podcast that weaves together stories and poetic reflections on the "Colors of Life." These narratives invite visitors to delve into universal themes—love, emotions, dreams, and the vital importance of preserving our planet.

An Artistic and Sensory Experience for Everyone

Conceived as a dialogue between art, nature, and social commitment, this exhibition is designed for a wide audience: art enthusiasts, families, and the curious alike. It will be enriched with educational workshops, guided tours, and themed events, ensuring an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Podcast : The colors of Water
00:00 / 01:25

I am Water. Since the dawn of time, nothing on this planet has been foreign to me. I am everywhere. I am in everything. Without me, there is no atmosphere—only barren rocks and dust. No life. No trees or flowers. No children.

I am the essence of life, the thread that weaves every breath and animates existence. I flow through living beings, entering and leaving them, always moving. I am the fleeting, the ever-changing. Yet, I am so constant, so present, that you’ve forgotten to notice my colors.

You’ve taken me for granted, believing I was unchanging. But I am fluid, elusive. Each of my colors carries the memory of a forgotten voice. Listen, and you will hear the stories of the world. Let my tales pull you into their current: water is not merely water but a living legend, an endless journey at the heart of life.
